Lunch Stretch Classes Offered!
Brenda Walsh will be offering a lunch time stretch class from 12:15 - 12:50 on Tues and Thurs during the months of Mar and April. Register for 1 or 2 days per week and pop down to our clinic in downtown Comox for a refreshing change to your lunchtime routine!
Brenda Walsh Begins Advanced Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy Training!
Brenda has started the 4th level in a series of demanding courses (5 levels total) that provided skilled training in manual and manipulative physiotherapy treatment. At Ascent Physiotherapy we pride ourselves on our manual skills and Brenda is committed to furthering her knowledge in this area. Prenatal Exercise Class
Partnering with Equilibrium Lifestyle Management, Kim Sénéchal, registered physiotherapist, teaches a prenatal exercise class at Ascent Physiotherapy. Kim is a mother, and found that in the later stages of her first pregnancy her only group class options were yoga and swimming. She has just had her second child and would love to share some great ideas of how to stay fit during pregnancy and beyond. This class will involve circuit training, core strengthening, stretching and education on how to safely and effectively stay healthy and active even while pregnant.
Dates: TBA - Call to put your name on an interest list! Deadline: Instructor: Kim Senechal: Physiotherapist, mother, currently 'growing' with 2nd child. Location: Ascent Physiotherapy 141A Nordin Ave, Comox Prerequisite: 1-8 months into pregnancy during program. All participants MUST complete the ParMedX for Pregnancy.
